When Bad Theology Starves God’s People | 1 Samuel 14:24-30

In 1 Samuel 14:24–30, Saul makes a rash vow that forbids his army from eating during battle. What appears to be spiritual leadership is actually harmful leadership that weakens God’s people. While Saul imposes a curse, God places honey in the forest—a visible reminder of His provision and grace. The people are starving while God’s provision sits right in front of them. This passage reveals a deeper biblical theme: who has the authority to define blessing and curse?
